Our Facility
Most of the employees at DSP are local to the area. We are friends and neighbors who grew up together and now enjoy many of the benefits that rural life affords us and our families.
DSP is one of the largest employers in the area. The ability to draw on the hard working and industrious labour pool is both a competitive advantage and a privilege for our company.
With twelve full and part time employees, flexibility in the work schedule is a perk.
If an employee has to tend to a family farm emergency, needs a day in the city, time to haul grain, or wants to attend his or her children's school sporting events,
time is always granted to an employee.
Processing Equipment and Warehouse
DSP operates modern equipment for the pulses and spices that we process. We have 26,000
square feet of warehouse and processing through adjoining buildings.
DSP has approximately 4000 tons of storage capacity. All products have the ability to be color sorted, destoned, gravity tabled, sifted, sized, and belt conveyed.
